An Elite K-9 Security Team

  • Experienced Officers

Each of our highly qualified K-9 Security Teams consists of an officer and canine. Our officers provide an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience in security patrolling, detection and crime prevention. Each officer is certified using the most recent handling techniques and up-to-date information. Additional training for our officers consists of, but not limited to:

    • IPC’s Pre-Assignment & Basic Training
    • Management of Aggressive Behavior® (MOAB) Certification
    • Practical and Tactical Handcuffing™ (PATH) Certification
    • OCAT® Pepper Spray Certification
    • Manadnock® Expandable Baton (MEB) Certification
    • State Firearms Certification
    • Taser® Certification - Optional
  • Highly Trained Canines

IPC’s canines are imported from Europe where bloodlines (genetics) have been preserved with exacting standards for working dogs. They are specifically selected based on temperament, drive, skill, obedience, and trained to be both assertive and sociable. They remain gentle and friendly when interacting with the public in high-traffic venues, however, they can quickly and effectively respond to threatening situations when necessary. IPC prefers the German Shepherd for most applications due to their time-tested versatility, however, other breeds such as the Belgian Malinois and Labrador may be used.

  • An Elite Team

Our handlers and canines make an elite security team and together undergo rigorous training to meet standards set by nationally recognized police canine organizations, such as the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA), National Police Canine Association (NPCA) and American Working Dogs (AWD). Many of our K-9 Security Teams have become recognized figures at the venues we service, and provide a boost to the facility's public image. Your guests will recognize the K-9 Security Teams as a visible testament to your commitment to safety and security.
